Silver Peak Elementary is located northwest of Goldfield, approximately halfway between Reno and Las Vegas, and about twenty miles off of Highway 95 in Esmeralda County. There are no students with an IEP, and there are no students who are Limited English Proficient. The racial composition is 100% White/Caucasian. Very few students qualify for free or reduced lunches, and the transiency rate is 41.7%. The majority of the parents are employed by the Lithium mine that is located in town.
